Launch of the ANSES dialogue committee on "Biotechnology, Environment and Health"

The "Biotechnology, Environment and Health" dialogue committee, chaired by Mr Jacques Vernier, met for the first time today at ANSES. Its purpose is to create a forum for exchange with stakeholders on the Agency's scientific work in this area. It will address ANSES's new assessment missions, since 1 January 2022, relating to organisms and products derived from biotechnology, both in the agri-food sector and for medical applications.

A new international campus for equine studies

ANSES is a partner of the International Equine Campus, whose first stone was laid today, 10 October. The campus will aim to give an international dimension to the Normandy site, which specialises in equine research and training.

ANSES signs a partnership agreement with Ouest Valorisation TTO to add value to its research results

The Ouest Valorisation TTO and ANSES are signing a partnership agreement today. Its goals are to add value to the research results produced by ANSES's laboratories in the Brittany and Pays de la Loire Regions and develop innovation stemming from their work.

ANSES entrusts Brice Laurent with the creation of a department dedicated to human and social sciences expertise and openness to society

On 2 June 2022, Brice Laurent was given the responsibility of creating a new department for social and economic analyses and openness to society at ANSES. This department, which he will manage, will reinforce the role of human and social sciences in the Agency's expert appraisal and communication practices.
